CFD Investigation of Volume Fraction of Nanofluid on Heat Transfer Rate in Micro Channel Heat Sink
Abstract: AbstractNew methods of removing heat from integrated chips of the electrical devices are very important. Mini channel liquid cooling is the new method by which we can remove heat from electrical devices easily. Uses of nanofluid in the mini channel liquid cooling is the experiment study. We investigated the effect of nanofluid on the heat transfer rate. We also investigated the effect of volume fraction of a nanofluid in the …

Numerical Investigation of Influence of Rate of Rotation on Formation of Vapor Around Two Heated Circular Cylinders Immersed in Water Inside a Channel
Abstract: AbstractThe complexity problem of fluid flow and heat transfer over an array of circular cylinders are common in industrial applications of the fluid dynamics. The complex nature of the problem encountered in industry, gives rise to certain significant dimensions in the fluid dynamics theory. Some of them are the fluid flow interaction, interferences in flow and vortex dynamics which are typically found in compact heat exchangers, cooling of electronic equipment, …

Experimental Studies on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Water in Multistage Microfluidic Bends
Abstract: AbstractA single three-stage and a pair of two-stage microfluidic bends are fabricated. SU-8 as negative photoresist is used to fabricate the stamp by maskless lithography and diamond like carbon (DLC) coating. Microchannel structures are fabricated using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) by hot embossing lithography. Direct bonding technique is used to fabricate the leakage-free sealing in microfluidic bends. The leakage-free surface-driven capillary flow is recorded by CMOS camera. This work will be useful …
