Critical Assessment of Parachute Deployment: Stress Analysis Perspectives
Abstract: The goal of the Mars Science Lab (MSL) mission's parachute decelerator system is to deliver the biggest payload on the Martian surface in history. Robust analysis tools are required to estimate loads and stresses in the canopy reinforcement in order to fulfill this challenge. Two finite element codes are used in this study's structural analysis of the MSL parachute system. This study has three goals in mind. Initially, the research assesses how …

Underwater Wireless Communication Using Visible Light
Abstract: The proposed method leads to a data communication architecture that transmits audio through water using visible light. This model uses a PIC microcontroller as hardware. The transmitter is a laser, while the receiver is a photodiode receiver. Today, high-speed wireless communications are required for many commercial, research and subsea applications. Current underwater communication methods, such as acoustic communication, suffer from significant delay and poor data quality, while underwater radio communication …

Harnessing IoT for Water Quality Surveillance and Management
Abstract: This paper provides an overview of IoT technology's integration in water quality management, focusing on real time monitoring of key parameters like pH, dissolved oxygen, turbidity, and temperature. Since it directly affects people's health and well-being, agriculture's viability, and the preservation of our natural environment, water quality is extremely important. However, as the world's population and industrialization grow, so does the need for water sources, making maintaining their purity extremely …

The ballistics device- Potato Cannon
Abstract: Spud guns, also known as potato cannons, represent a fascinating intersection of ingenuity, physics, and recreational engineering. This paper delves into the dynamics, construction, and potential applications of spud guns. These devices typically consist of a combustion chamber, a barrel, and a triggering mechanism. The propulsion system involves igniting a gaseous mixture, often generated from aerosol propellants or other combustible materials, which propels a projectile—usually a potato or similar object—out …

Effect of Temperature on Inhibitory Efficacy of Tamarindus indica fruit extract on acid corrosion of Aluminium
Abstract: An attempt has been made to investigate the anti-corrosive propensity of ethanolic extract of Tamarindus indica fruit at elevated temperature between 303 to 343 K, so as to replace the exploitation of toxic chemicals as corrosion inhibitors. Inhibition efficiency has been observed significantly high (84.06%) at room temperature at concentration 0.45 %. The inhibition efficiency is found to increase with increasing concentration of extract and decrease with rise in temperature. …
