Exploring Lightweight and Earthquake-resistant Construction with Ferrocement Sandwich Panels
Abstract: The creation of sandwich panels made of ferrocement as non-load-bearing building components is examined in this study. The sandwich panels had one layer of wire mesh netting between two thin pieces of ferrocement for reinforcement. Two thin ferrocement layers strengthened with a thermocol sheet made up the sandwich sections. The two iron lattice sections were connected by steel wires. Three sandwich panels in total were made. Compared to traditional masonry …

Analysis of Retrofitting Concrete Structure Using FRP Laminates
Abstract: Retrofitting is referred to as modifying existing equipment or structure with additional or new components or members. To make older structures more resistant to accidents or seismic activity, retrofitting is referred to as modifying existing equipment or structures with new or additional members or components. An existing structure is less susceptible to damage when it is retrofitted. The use of retrofitting is on the rise right now. The structures' strength, …

Exploring the Influence of Rice Husk Ash on Compressive Strength: Experimental Investigations in Construction Materials
Abstract: This paper aims to know the effect of rice husk ash on compressive strength 6 molds were collected and laboratory tests were conducted in cooperation with private laboratories in Baghdad Governorate, Iraq. The tests were conducted for a period of 7 and 28 days, where the samples were divided into 1 control and 5 samples distributed on a different percentage from 5% to 25% of the rice husks. The compressive …

Planning Dynamics for Newly Designated and Reconstituted Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in Bihar
Abstract: The ongoing trend of urbanization in India has seen substantial development in the form of significant development in the Reconstitution and Redesignation of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs). However, this procedure also presents a number of issues for planning and governance, particularly for those ULBs that have just been declared or reconstituted. In this research, the planning dynamics of newly designated and reconstituted ULBs in India are analyzed, and critical elements …

Analysis of Ferrocement Insulated Sandwich Wall Panel
Abstract: Ferrocement is a thin composite construction comprised of a rich cement-based mortar mixture and a variety of wire meshes. Ferrocement is a versatile building material that is widely used in developing countries for real estate, sanitation, water resources, etc. This project's major goal is to design an affordable insulation-resistant residential construction system for both urban and rural growth. Ferrocement methods decreased structural load, cost, and time by at least 30% …
