Analysis of core and outrigger structural system for different soil condition
Abstract: As achievement of structural system for tall building is not easy task. As the tall building is more affected by lateral loads so design and analysis of high rise building is difficult so to minimized this effects of load now a days new different systems like outrigger system belt truss system. In this present study outrigger system is used with rigid core. In this study G+30 floor building is considered …

Decision Making in Rural Infrastructure Development
Abstract: Infrastructures are the basic system, services and facilities that countries or organizations need to improve the quality of life. Urban infrastructures in India are developing faster as compared to the rural infrastructure. Rural infrastructure need to be placed in order to achieve the basic needs required for living. In order to achieve the basic needs in the rural sector, First step is the evaluation of the existing infrastructure and this …

Analysis of RCC Building with and Without Shear Wall Subjected to Blast Load
Abstract: In recent time we have witnessed number of terrorist activities around the world. In this era of technology, it is easy to target structures such as public building, bridges etc. by blasting them. Sometimes accidental blast during handling or storage may also cause huge damage to the structures. It is need of this time to make structures safe against such loads. Experimental methods are not always feasible hence in this …

Lumped Construction Sequence for Column Shortening Analysis in High Rise Building with Outrigger System
Abstract: The exact value of column shortening is not a straightforward task. Various parameters are affected on column shortening results like rate of construction sequence and reinforcement ratio. The building should stand with high stiffness and must be able to resist lateral deformation without having discomfort to the user. The excessive drift is controlled by using outrigger system. In high rise buildings, the construction sequence analysis and conventional sequence analysis are …

The Influence of Sediment Deposits in the Threshold Criteria of Sediment Movement in Rigid Boundary
Abstract: An effort is made to develop a simplified methods for the estimation of bed shear stress for rigid boundary for initiation of sediment motion using different bed thickness, bed slopes and different sediment particles diameters (ranging between (0.5mm < d50 < 4.78). The findings were compared with the earlier studies demonstrating that critical shear parameter value for fixed beds is less than the reported values in literature. This come in …
