Benzimidic Acid Derivatives as Potential Anti-Escherichia coli Agent for Preventing Nosocomial Infections
Abstract: Based on the global fame of benzimidic acid/benzoic acid derivatives in exhibiting antimicrobial activities against a variety of pathogens (particularly nosocomial infections), two novel compounds (S1 and S2) of benzimidic acid scaffold were rationally designed from a hydrazine derivative and fabricated using the conventional synthesis technique.
