Hardware in Loop Testing of Power Lift Gate ECU Using NI-PXI and NI-Veristand
Abstract: Hardware-in-the-loop which stands for HIL, is a testing technique of complex RT embedded systems. An effective platform is provided by HIL testing by giving the reality of the plant under control to the test platform. The reality of the Unit under test is included in test and by providing a mathematical model of all related systems. These mathematical models are referred to as the “Unit under test simulation”. The embedded …

Arduino-Based Automatic Safety Vehicle Control
Abstract: Vehicle accidents due to various movements while driving is reduced using an arduino microcontroller, an automatic vehicle human-voice-based safety control is proposed in this paper. One of the most important safety control features is the automotive speed control (ASC) which prevents a vehicle sudden hit, the required action is taken based on the vehicle-to vehicle distance. In addition to this, several other automated safety control operations are provided (i.e., radio, …

Issues and Challenges for Computing in Embedded System
Abstract: The reliability of any software system is very important for us. As we continue the process of error detection and error correction on the software system, the reliability of the software keeps on increasing. So, for modeling this growth in the reliability of any system, many formulations in the form of Software Reliability Growth Models has been proposed. Among these approaches, maximum approaches are based on NHPP. In this paper, …

BREAKDOWN VOLTAGE TEST OF DIFFERENT SOLID INSULATING MATERIALS USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK MODEL
Abstract: In this paper we are presenting Artificial Neural Network (MFNN) model which has different possible inputs affecting the breakdown voltage that are working temperature, the insulating material thickness, dielectric strength of insulating material, volume resistivity of materials, dissipation factor, conductivity of materials, and the materials relative permittivity that also predicts the breakdown voltage as a function of all these inputs parameters. It is important to train the Artificial Neural Network …

Audio Amplifier with Improved SNR and high Bass control
Abstract: A class-AB amplifier is analysed and modified. Performance analysis of class-AB amplifiers was conducted, which happens to be the most successful topologies in the audio amplifier segment with regard to fidelity. The manufacturer’s rating of 20dB was increased to 200dB with certain circuit modifications as presented.
