Reservoir Operation Using Particle Swarm Optimization
Abstract: Ideal operation of the reservoir is thoughtful in the current circumstances of water deficiency being faced by the country, due to perceivable universal increase in the water demand for numerous requirements. Water resources projects required enormous funds, money and manpower to reach the desired objective and operate the reservoir in best way a reservoir operation is needed. Depending upon reservoir characteristics and need of surrounding area it is required to …

Groundwater Investigation Using Remote Sensing and GIS in Hard Rock Terrain
Abstract: A large amount of rainwater is lost through run off, In order to ensure a judicious use of groundwater proper evaluation is required. In the present study, an integrated Remote Sensing and GIS based methodology was developed for the investigation of groundwater and selection of artificial recharge sites in a hard rock terrain. Main objectives of these studies are delineation of groundwater potential zones in the area, carry out trend …

Hyphomicrobium Transport in Heterogeneous Coarse Formation Influenced by Porosity
Abstract: Hyphomicrobium transports were monitored at different litho structure in deltaic depositions. The study is to determine their rates of migration in heterogeneous predominant porous medium in the study area. The deposition of Hyphomicrobium migration experienced lag phase in some region of the formation. Fluctuation was also observed base on the reflection of heterogeneous porosity. The migration in shallow depth may also be affected by high acidic [PH] in the soil …
