Analysis of Cooperative Communication Techniques
Abstract: The scope of this study is to analyze cooperative communication techniques by measuring the symbol error rate vs. signal to noise ratio and analyzing the merits and demerits of those techniques. Unless stated otherwise, the channel is modelled as Rayleigh fading and noise is modeled as white Gaussian. The results of this study can be used to understand the benefits of cooperative protocols and their necessity in future communication systems. …

Methodologies for Functional Testing of 4G User Equipment in Laboratory Environment
Abstract: Long Term Evolution (LTE) or 4G is the current mobile communication standard which has a pivotal role in our communication industry. All the LTE wireless terminals must pass the Radio resource Management (RRM) conformance and functionality testing before the product is to be released into market. This study reports the performance of functional testing with different test cases in laboratory environment. Each test case has been executed and responses have …

Optimization of the Climate Control System for Pure Electric Vehicle
Abstract: Emission standards have become increasingly stringent, which has generated more interest in problems related to environmental pollution. However, the EV driving range suffers from A/C (air conditioning) for the comfort of the occupants, especially in very hot or cold climates. Therefore, the dimensioning of the A/C system is more important than the case of the conventional vehicle with internal combustion engine. Specifically, EV consumes electric power from the battery pack …

Power Market Management and Grid Controls Platforms with Integrating Third Party Owned DER
Abstract: In the deregulated electricity market, many Individual Powers Produces (IPP)/Distributed Energy Resources (DER) compete to sell the power. Grid and power flow controlling is a challenging task. In deregulated scenario many market model, according to that the power-flow control has to be done looking at the Available Transfer Capacity (ATC) in the lines. FACTS controllers are well suited to control the active power by injecting/absorbing the reactive power from the …

Sensing Systems of Industries
Abstract: Competences from ZigBee have followed after expert basics of wireless sensor network (WSN), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, where WSN base has been applied for security and civil sectors. Timely information at least time to plan and apply has provisioned to mitigate troubleshooting. This has defined smart sectors additive to traded internet of things (IoT). Nominal to exclaim has opted to execute many clave to prosper. Those inclusive form as said in …
