Cu-H2O Nano-Fluid Effect on Buoyancy Driven Flow in 2D Enclosure
Abstract: System miniaturization resulting in exponential increase of the heat in electronic devices, to serve this purpose we need some adequate quality heat cooling devices and materials, due to the limitation of conventional cooling process. Suspension of nano-particles in the base fluid called nano-fluid, shows prominent increase in the heat transfer and can be one of appropriate option which can be answer to this problem. Present work deals with numerical simulation …

Analysis of the Fraction of Mass Flow Rate on the Performance of Double Flow Solar Air Heater
Abstract: This paper presents a mathematical model of a double flow solar air heater, in which air is flowing simultaneously over and under the absorbing plate. Based on the energy balance equations, the effect of fraction of mass flow rate in the upper or lower flow channel has been investigated analytically. The results show that there is air temperature rise, heat gain and efficiency has the maximum value when the optimal …

Review on Effects of Torrefaction Process on the Biomass
Abstract: This paper contains review of the effects of torrefaction process variables on several types of biomass. In the torrefaction process, biomass is slowly heated in an inert atmosphere and temperature ranges from 200 to 300°C. This results in the complete degradation of hemicellulose content of the biomass and changes the properties of the biomass. Due to the improved properties, it becomes more convenient fuel. It is also called a pretreatment …

Numerical Study of Melting Process of Phase Change Material Filled in Rectangular Cavity with Partially Active Walls
Abstract: This paper presents numerical investigation of melting process inside rectangular cavity with partially active walls. Enthalpy porosity approach is used to simulate convection dominated melting inside rectangular cavity. Gallium is used as phase change material. Numerical model is validated with available experimental results. Numerical investigation is carried out to investigate the influence on melting behaviour of phase change material for relative positions of hot and cold walls. Results show that …

Evaluation of Solar Heat Gains and Environmental Influence of the Phase Change Material (PCM) Wall
Abstract: Solar powered warm vitality can be viably put away in dividers of a working by joining stage change materials (PCMs) inside them. Plasterboards containing PCM can be utilized to assimilate and store solar based warmth picked up amid daytime and discharge or put away warmth amid evening time. A divider fitted with plasterboards containing PCM is typically called a PCM divider. In this review, south façade of a test room …
