STUDYING OF CHARACTERISTICS OF HYBRID COMPOSITE MATERIAL PRODUCED BY STIR CASTING METHOD
Abstract: A Metal framework composite is a composite material with no less than two constituent parts, one being a metal other fortification. At the point when no less than three materials are available, it is known as a mixture composite. Aluminum is generally utilized as a part of aviation and vehicle enterprises because of their low weight ratio and great mechanical properties, better consumption protection and wear, low temperature coefficient of …

Dissimilar Joining Of Aluminium Alloy to Copper Using Tungsten Inert Gas Welding Process
Abstract: Aluminium-copper dissimilar joints are applicable to electrical industry. 2 mm thick aluminium alloys (A1100) sheet is joined to 1 mm thick copper (Cu-DHP) sheet using tungsten inert gas welding (TIG) process. The effect of process parameters like heat input, torch orientation, arc weaving on mechanical properties of the joint are studied. In this combination the molten pool generated by melting of aluminium edge will wet the coppersurface to form a …

A REVIEW REPORT ON ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING PERFORMANCE EFFICIENCY
Abstract: Additive manufacturing is a payback of cutting edge technology, which evolves into a handy tool for every industry. It evolves during the last decade, into a highly preferred prototype making tool. This report analyses the favors and challenges between the stereotyped manufacturing and additive manufacturing. Additive Manufacturing (AM) is a layer-by-layer based method, used for part manufacturing and it is directly imported from CAD files. It is used in manufacturing …

Evolution of Graphene Oxide : A Survey
Abstract: Graphene, first isolated in 2004, is the 2D material that captivated researchers’ attention due to its extraordinary properties. These extraordinary properties motivated researchers to keep on searching better ways for synthesis of Graphene oxide (GO) and reduced graphene oxide (rGO). Several synthesis(oxidation-reduction) mechanisms are available in literature such as: Staudenmaier’s(ST), Hofmann’s (HO), Hummers’ (HU), Modified Hummer’s (MHU), improved Hummers’(IHU) and Mild Oxidation(MO) methods for oxidation and thermal, chemical, hydrothermal and …

A COMPREHENSIVE REVIEW OF NOVELTY OF FRICTION STIR WELDING OF ALUMINIUM – MAGNESIUM ALLOYS FOR ADVANCED ENGINEERING APPLICATIONS
Abstract: Aluminum and magnesium based alloys are majorly finding their applications in industries like automobile, aerospace and sports applications. The joining of these dissimilar alloys is very difficult by using traditional fusion welding technique inherently because of the “brittle Inter Metallic Compounds (IMC)” like Mg2Al3 and Mg17Al12. In order to enhance the joint strength, the formation of inter metallic compounds due to friction stir welding has to be characterized at the …
