New Method for the Transient Analysis of Lines with Corona
Abstract: Abstract-- A new direct procedure for the transient analysis of overhead lines under corona is suggested. The governing partial differential equations are derived taking into consideration the possiblevariations in the line’s equivalent conductance and capacitance. A noniterative solution ofthese equations can be found in terms of interpolating functions resulting from a Mathematicacomputer code. The developed program can handle any time waveform of the sourcesinitiating the transients, any line length, design and …

Energy Estimations and Hypothetical Design of an Exclusive Tourism Spot in Coastal Region Named “Bhasan Char” of Bangladesh
Abstract: Bhasan Char is a coastal island at Hatiya upzilla of Noakhali District. It is a single charwhich has been uncovered from the Bay of Bengal a few years back. An emergencyhumanitarian project implemented by the government of Bangladesh at this coastal island“Bhasan Char”, from September 2017, to temporarily rehabilitate a portion of incomingRohingya refugees before they can repatriate to their homeland, Myanmar. Under thisproject, government of Bangladesh carries out land …

Frequency Characteristics and Transient Response of Transmission Lines with Longitudinally Varying Ambient Temperature
Abstract: This paper addresses the steady state, the frequency characteristics and the transient response ofpower lines in the presence of longitudinally varying ambient temperature. This variation willlead to location-dependent line circuit parameters and to a changing equivalent circuit. Thederived models, which are based on the exact long line theory, can incorporate the impact of thedifferent patterns of the temperature distribution in terms of location and magnitude. Severalcase studies of the resulting …

Bloom Box Powered Electrical Vehicle with Carbon Nanotubes Wound Motor Drive Train
Abstract: The electrical energy is the main concern to run of an electrical vehicle. This electrical energy isgenerally obtained from a bank of batteries. These batteries require lot of space, and they areheavier. These facts affect the performance and efficiency of an electrical vehicle. Bloom boxcan utilize both fossil (natural gas) and renewable (stream air) sources to produce electricity. Itsoperation is noiseless. It can supply higher energy although it is smaller …

Hardware Implementation of IoT-based Health Monitoring of Three-phase Induction Motor
Abstract: In this project, a wireless monitoring system for three-phase induction motor is realized usingIoT (internet of things), where wired communication is either more expensive or impossibledue to physical conditions and human hazards for safe and economic data communication inindustrial fields. The parameters such as phase current, speed, vibrations and temperature aremonitored by Raspberry Pi and then send these values on cloud. The aim of this project is tomonitor and acquire …
