Efficient Technique for Analyzing Non-Uniform Transformer Windings
Abstract: This paper addresses the electromagnetic transients and the frequency characteristics of non-uniform transformer windings exhibiting inter-winding mutual circuit parameters. The dependence of the winding inductances and capacitances on the location along the winding is incorporated in the governing Kirchhoff’s voltage and current equations with the voltages and currents as unknowns. These unknowns will then be determined through the application of algebraic solution techniques in order to get closed-form analytical voltage …

Design and Analysis of a 100 kWp Grid Connected PV Solar Plant at a Coastal Area of Bangladesh
Abstract: In Bangladesh, the usage of electricity is continuously increasing. Govt. is also trying to increase the electricity production by installing new power plants to meet the additional power demands. Most of the power plants are natural gas-based, coal-based or nuclear power-based. Considering the greenhouse effect; solar power plants could be one of the best solutions to meet the additional power demands as well as it has a lot of financial …

A State-of-the-Art Strategy for Guesstimate of Reliability of Cumbersome Radial Distribution Structure
Abstract: Reliability assessment of an engineering system or systems or component or element is very important in order to forecast its availability or unavailability and other important indices related to the component or system as a whole. Reliability is the floating which tells about the availability or unavailability of the component under proper working conditions for a given period of time. A lot many research papers have been reported for reliability …
