Interference Reduction in DS-CDMA Systems Using Adaptive MMSE Technique
Abstract: Multiple access interference (MAI) limits the capacity of Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) systems due to direct sequence of users. This paper examines interference reduction in Direct Sequence Code Division Multiple Access (DS-CDMA) system using Adaptive Minimum Mean Square Error (AMMSE). Much of the present research is aimed at finding an appropriate tradeoff between complexity and performance. Simulation results shows that the Adaptive MMSE is better performed than …

A Robust and Real Time Approach for Scene Text Localization and Recognition in Image Processing
Abstract: The text localization and recognition in real-time scene text images is still a big issue in current applications. Mobile application and digitization in real world gives a vital and broad impact on real-time scene text images. However, the efficiency of recognition rate depends upon the text localization, i.e., higher the purity of text background segmentation and decomposition, higher the rate of accuracy for the image recognition. In this paper is …

Use of PIC16f877/874 in Pneumatically Powered Net Gun
Abstract: It is critical to have capture crews who understand wild animal behaviour. This allows for captures without excessive chase time as well as fast and efficient processing. Animals that have been subjected to long and stressful chases before capture or that have been subjected to harassment and lengthy restraint and processing experiences are more likely to suffer health complications. Biological data will often be unusable. Animals may disperse in search …

Speed Control of DC Motor with High Accuracy
Abstract: The aim of developing this project is to control the speed of DC motor. The main advantage in using a DC motor is that the speed-torque relationship can be varied to almost any useful form. To achieve the speed control an electronic technique called pulse width modulation (PWM) is used which generates high and low pulses. These pulses vary the speed in the motor. For the generation of these pulses …

Human Mouse Based on MEMS
Abstract: The increase in human machine communications in our daily lives has made user crossing point technology with time more important. Physical gesticulations as intuitive terminologies will greatly ease the communication process and empower humans to more naturally grasp computer or machines. Gesture recognition has been a research area which established much courtesy from many research communities such as human computer interaction and image processing.
