Aerogel Composite from Scope–A Study
Abstract: This article is a study of nano-metric porous dimension so as to originate open scripture to allocate semi-composite organized after drying. Particulate merged add an addendum anew formation to subdivide inter atoms to bond nano-composite ingredients. Properties of matter have been identified to be lower than 100 nm. Reinforce of aerogel as blanket has been designated to bear as usual insulation upon typifying configurative scope as substrate to cover. Adjoined …

Bioplastics: Their Advantages and Concerns
Abstract: It is now well-known that plastic is everywhere you go. Plastic is characterized with threats to humanity and ecosystem. It contributes significant amount of greenhouse gases which trigger climate change, it accumulates and harm the animals and plants. Thus, there is need to search for an alternative plastic form to displace the conventional plastics. Presently, bioplastic is the identified possible alternative to conventional plastics at hand. The objective of this …

Optimization of Consolidation Temperature and Time for Self Reinforced High-density Polyethylene Composite
Abstract: Demand for high-density polyethylene (HDPE) for industrial production of domestic and commercial commodities has made it necessary to find ways of improving its mechanical properties. A viable approach towards this is the addition of reinforcements such as glass fibers. However, glass fiber reinforced composites suffer limitations because of reduced recyclability, great weight and difficult to thermo-form. In order to improve properties such as specific strength, stiffness and thermoformability of the …

Domestic Drinking Water Electrical Purifier
Abstract: Domestic drinking water purification systems are designed to treat hard water, remove deposits such as scale, sand, lime, rust, etc., and to deactivate harmful viruses and bacteria such as E. coli. The advantages of these purification systems are that they are not only a source of clean drinking water, but also that clean drinking water protects heating systems, household appliances, plumbing, washing/laundry etc. from deposits such as scale, sand, lime, …

Short Report on Capillary Flow in Microfluidics
Abstract: In this experimental work, a single SU-8 based glass microfluidic device is fabricated by masklesslithography and indirect bonding technique. The sealing between glass lid and SU-8 basedmicrochannel structure is performed by indirect bonding technique during the hard baking. Dyed wateris prepared as working liquid to record the surface-driven capillary flow in microfluidics using a CMOScamera catching 25 frames per second with a corresponding time-scale resolution of 0.04 second. Thiswork may …
