Design of Microstrip Stepped Impedance Low Pass Filter for S-Band Application Using Insertion Loss Method
Abstract: Day by day the requirement of microstrip filter is increasing because of their size, low cost and narrow bandwidth .this paper elaborates the design of stepped impedance LPF by using insertion loss method using Richard’s transformation and Kuroda’s identities. Filter works at 2.65 GHz; the used material is FR4 lossy with dielectric constant 4.3 with a substrate thickness of 1.6 mm for n=3. The designing is done with the help …

Design Optimization of Microstrip Antenna with EBG and DGS Using the Genetic Algorithm to Reduce the Mutual Coupling
Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to construct, create, and reproduction of different antenna structures using electromagnetic band gap (EBG) materials and defected ground structures (DGS). Microstrip antennas are processed in order to improve performance by changing the shape of the geometry of the antenna, in particular to reduce the mutual coupling between the elements. The propagation of electromagnetic waves in a specified frequency range have the unique ability to …

Genetic Algorithm for Shortest Path Routing Problem
Abstract: This review paper presents a genetic algorithm approach to the shortest path routing problem. Its variable length chromosomes (string) and their genes (parameters) have been used for encoding the problem. The crossover operation exchanges partial routes.

Review Paper of Designing of CPW Fed Micro-strip Patch Antenna for UWB and Bluetooth Application
Abstract: A compact size coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed micro strip antenna is proposed for radiation of the frequency spectrums 2.36 to 2.49 GHz (Bluetooth) and 3.1 to 10.6 GHz (UWB-Ultra wideband) covers. Both are unlicensed bands but in UWB band there are two licensed bands i.e. WLAN and Wi-MAX present in the frequency range of 5.12 to 5.825 GHz and 3.4 to 3.7 GHz respectively. In this design we have single CPW-fed …

A Survey on Fractal Antennas
Abstract: Modern communication systems demand antennas with (1) compact size, (2) low profile, and (3) multi or broadband characteristics without altering antenna properties moreover, if possible enhancement should obtain. “The Fractal Antenna” operates at all ideal characteristics. So the present paper considers different fractal geometries, and its operation as antenna

Bandwidth Enhancement of MPA using DGS
Abstract: In this paper, the authors proposed an MPA with DGS to enhance its parameters and mainly bandwidth of the antenna. To achieve a very important bandwidth enhancement the authors proposed a rectangular shaped symmetrical DGS in the ground plane. This DGS on the ground plane increases the fringing field which reluctantly increases the parasitic capacitance. This increases the coupling between patch and ground which make the bandwidth to increase from …
