A Compact Design of Dual Band Micro Strip Antenna for WLAN/WiMax Applications
Abstract: In this paper compact dual wide band micro strip antenna has been designed with line feed technique. The return loss bandwidth achieved is 12.34% (1.398–1.582) GHz and 21.56% (2.395–2.974) GHz with a maximum return loss –44.89 dB at resonant frequency 2.656 GHz by using Zeland IE3D software. The fabricated line feed patch antenna is tested and measured by using spectrum analyzer.

Rectangular Micro Strip Patch Antenna Interconnected with Symmetrical Cut Hexagonal Shaped between Horizontal Lines Meta Material Structure Enhancement Bandwidth at 1.80 GHz
Abstract: This paper proposes a new generation of antenna that applies Metamaterial (MTM) properties at ground plane. The paper analyzes the performance of Microstrip Patch Antenna with and without using the MTM structure. Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna (RMPA) interconnected with symmetrical cut hexagonal shaped between horizontal lines MTM structure is proposed for enhancement of bandwidth and reduction of return loss at operating frequency of 1.80 GHz. The proposed antenna is designed …

Investigation of Square Monopole Antenna with Slotted Patch
Abstract: A novel antenna with slotted patch for L-Band applications is presented in this paper. The proposed antenna consists of a square patch with rectangular slot. By slotting of the patch the antenna shows enhancement of gain in allocated band. A rectangular slot in the patch and partial ground plane is used in this antenna to enhance return loss and bandwidth. The simulated results have shown that the designed antenna receives …

Design of Passive Phase Shifter for Beam Steering Applications
Abstract: The role of phase shifters in the field of beam steerable antennas is vital. The paper presents a navel technique in designing of phase shifters. This technique is facilitating many advantages along with phase shifting, such as reducing mutual coupling between array antenna elements results reduction in overall antenna size and miniaturize the radiating antenna aperture. This structure also shields the components behind the antenna. This method helps in eliminating …
