Automatic Waste Segregator and Monitoring System
Abstract: Rapid increase in population has led to improper waste management in metro cities and urban areas which has resulted in spreading of diseases. It is estimated that 2.02 billion tones of municipal solid waste was generated universally in 2006. The segregation, transport, handling and disposal of waste must be managed properly to minimize the risks to the public, and the environment. An efficient method to dispose the waste has been …

Survey of Techniques for Clustering and Classification of ECG using WEKA
Abstract: ECG analysis can be done for automatic detection of abnormality in cardiac activity. This can be helpful in generating alert for saving a precious life. Various techniques have been proposed in literature for feature detection and classification such as; fuzzy logic methods, artificial neural networks (ANN), and support vector machines (SVM), wavelet transform, Hilbert transform, etc. Recently, numerous researches and techniques have been developed for analyzing the ECG signal on …

Voltage Gain Improved Method using Soft Switching Technique in a Forward-Flyback Converter
Abstract: In this paper, a high step-up topology employing a ZVS soft-switching technique in forward-flyback DC-DC converter to improve the voltage-gain is presented. The ZVS soft-switching technique implemented in a DC-DC converter suppresses the voltage spikes, which reduces the switching voltage stress and improves the voltage gain of the converter. A 60 W SFFB DC/DC converter test system is implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK to verify the results. The comparison is also made …

Wireless Wrist Pulse Monitor Design
Abstract: Wrist pulse has been used for diagnosis of disease in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medical system. But this diagnosis is subjective to the experience and sense of the medical practitioner as same pulse may be interpreted in different way by different person. In order to make this diagnosis objective rather than subjective, digitization of wrist pulse is needed. Many platforms have been developed for acquiring the wrist pulse; however, they …

Reduce Harmonic Distortion using Pseudorandom PWM Technique
Abstract: Due to harmonic content in the voltage and current wave forms in the power electronic devices working at high frequencies cause mechanical vibrations, acoustic noise, and EMI interference makes the workers uncomfortable. Proposed work deals with a new and effective technique to possess low acoustic noise and mechanical vibration when lower switching frequency is chosen. Pseudo random pulse width modulation the new established technique is used to eliminate this undesirable …
