Design of a control system for determining the autonomy of electric vehicles (EVs)
Abstract: The main goal of this project is the development of an advanced system for controlling the performance of lithium batteries that equip electric vehicles by improving previous design of the control system so the real driving range of an Electric Vehicle (EV) can be determined within the highest accuracy, considering the driving conditions, driving attitude of car drivers and external influences.

Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) Control for Total Harmonic Distortions Reduction of Multi-Pulse STATCOM
Abstract: In this paper proposed ANFIS System is adapted for controllable mitigation of Total harmonic distortions of STATCOM with Multiple pulse technology. Integrated power electronics device, Gate Turn Off (GTO) is used in switching mode with Voltage source convertor during application of distinct load conditions. The proportional and integrated Controller is replaced by a smart fuzzy logic controller that offers great support for harmonic mitigation by redefining the electrical magnitudes of …

Design and Analysis of Smart Stents Using MEMS Pressure Sensors
Abstract: In modern day medicine, stents are a commonly used device for patients with cardiovascular diseases. There is however no accurate method of monitoring its working and ensuring that the stent is able to prevent any further blockages. Stents can also cause issues like restenosis and thrombosis, which if not treated immediately can have serious repercussions for the patient. This project aims at understanding, modelling and developing a smart stent which can resolve …

Artificial intelligence and its uses in speech recognition
Abstract: Innovative technologies utilising artificial intelligence have transformed the way we live. Every sector of society has been significantly impacted by AI, which has swept through every industry. The term "artificial intelligence" was first used at a symposium in 1956. The conference's discussion on multidisciplinary information technology and natural language production. Technology advanced enormously as a result of the development of the internet. Thirty years ago, artificial intelligence technology was a …

An empirical investigation using artificial neural networks to evaluate the manageability of object-oriented systems
Abstract: Software can be called quality software if it produces consistent outputs over multiple time of testing. There can be very much difficulties to modify and maintain the software with poor maintainability. For assessing the characteristics of object-oriented software, such as scale, inheritance, integrity, and coupling, numerous object-oriented metrics have been recommended. In this study, we explore object-oriented variables that have the potential to be significant antecedents of software maintenance. In …
