The Onset of Rayleigh-Bénard-Marangoni Convection in a Ferromagnetic Fluid Layer
Abstract: This study examined the implications of magnetic boundary conditions, which are vertical in nature, on buoyancy and surface tension–driven ferrothermal convection (FTC) in a ferrofluid layer. While the upper surface is stress-free and susceptible to general thermal boundary issues, the bottom surface is stiff and insulating against temperature changes. The eigenvalue issue is solved analytically using the regular perturbation method and numerically using the Galerkin technique. According to analysis, raising …

Exploring the Influence of Machining Parameters on Geometric Form and Orientation Controls (23 Design)
Abstract: This work explores the influence of machining parameters using on geometric form controls flatness and straightness as well as orientation control parallelism using an aluminum 6061 workpiece. Due to its good strength, machinability and cost- effectiveness, aluminum 6061 is widely used. In this experimental work, full factorial design is used and each factor has two levels. The response parameters chosen include flatness, straightness, and parallelism, which govern the form and …

Comparative Study of Clamped-Clamped and Clamped-Free Elastic Beams Resting on Bi-Parametric Subgrades and Subjected to Concentrated Moving Loads
Abstract: In this paper, a comparative study of clamped-clamped and clamped-free elastic beams resting on bi-parametric subgrades subjected to concentrated moving load has been investigated. This work takes into account the viscous effects of the moving load. The findings are shown graphically. The methods of solution incorporate integral transformation in combination with convolution theory, a version of Struble's asymptotic approaches, and Fourier integral translate with the series representation of the Dirac-delta …

Accessibility Index of Selected Combine Harvesters of Chhattisgarh Region
Abstract: Combine harvesters have become more popular with an increase in harvested area in Chhattisgarh. It must be ensured that the workplace of the combine harvesters must fulfill the anthropometric criteria of agricultural workers of Chhattisgarh. Incorporating anthropometric criteria into the design of combine harvesters is essential for improving the comfort, efficiency, and safety of agricultural workers in Chhattisgarh. In addition to supporting the operators, this strategy likewise enhances the region's …

A Finite Element Analysis to Study the Effect of Hydrostatic Pressure on Steel Ductility
Abstract: The effect of superimposed hydrostatic pressure on percentage reduction of area (a gauge mark of the ductility) is investigated in round steel bars in tensile stress by employing a finite element analysis (FEA) with 8-node serendipity quadrilateral elements and von Mises plasticity flow rule in an elastoplastic power law hardening model. It is demonstrated that a linear relationship exists between the pressure and percentage reduction of area at any given …
