Plant-Drive Natural Filler Filled Polypropylene Composites: Effects of Filler Treatment, Filler Content and Nanoclay on Properties
Abstract: In this study, PP was blended with nanoclay at three different loadings of 1, 3, and 5 wt%, while maleated polypropylene (PPM) was added at 5 wt%. The results showed that PP nanocomposites prepared at 5% PPM and 3% nanoclay showed optimum mechanical performance. In this research, untreated and chemically treated peanut shell flour (PSF) reinforced PP nanocomposites were prepared at four different loadings of 10, 20, 30, and 40 …

Review of the Antifungal Drug Luconazole for the Treatment of Skin Infections
Abstract: Many U.S. researchers are still working on a broad-spectrum imidazole antifungal called Luliconazole to treat dermatophytic skin and nail infections. The in vitro activity of luliconazole against filamentous fungi, including dermatophytes, is among the highest of any antifungal drug tested to date. The unique molecular characteristics of a 10% solution of Luliconazole make it possible for the drug to quickly reach fungicidal concentrations in the nail unit, allowing it to …

Cancer Prevention Activity in Vitro and the Mechanism of Action Bioactive Ingredients
Abstract: Natural substances that can treat a variety of ailments, including cancer, can be found in the Solanaceae plant family. There is still uncertainty regarding the location and mode of action of these substances in cells. Several of the cellular targets can now be studied and identified thanks to increasing advances in biological science research. The relevant studies that describe how some of these substances may fight cancer are found in …

Modern Biomaterials: Biologically Sensitive Hydrogel Materials
Abstract: Modern biomaterials and biological products are interacting at a more clearly defined interface. Hydrogels, a category of highly hydrated biomaterials, are significant. With interstitial voids that are up to 90% water by weight, hydrogels are made of elastic networks. They are created either physically or chemically by self-assembling building blocks that areeither created artificially or organically. Macromolecules in a range of structures, such as cross-linked polymers, entangled fibrillar networks, or …

Generating Fuel Energy by Catalytic Pyrolyzing of Microalgae
Abstract: In biomass pyrolysis process, a catalyst is used to modify the pyrolysis gases' chemical composition and increase the bio-oil fraction. This process uses the byproducts of thermal conversion processes. It is anticipated that the introduction of pyrolysis catalysts in the case of microalgae will lower the bio-oxygen oil's content and increase the number of added-value compounds in this liquid fraction. Catalysts can also help decrease the nitrogen in bio-oil. As …
