Utilization of the Brewer’s Spent Grain for Lactic acid production: Acid hydrolysis and submerged fermentation
Abstract: The production of Lactic acid from Brewery Spent Grain using Lactobacillus plantarum ATCC 8014. was carried out in this study. Box Behnken Design (BBD) (Design expert® 7 software) was used to investigate the effect of temperature, reaction time and acid concentration during the hydrolysis. Fermentation of the hydrolyzate was performed at 35 °C, pH 5.0-5.5 and 200 rpm for 72 h.

Review on: Heterogeneous Solid Base Catalyst Production from Waste Animal Bone as Transesterification of Jatropha Oil
Abstract: Biodiesel is produce mainly by transesterification, reacting vegetable oils or animal fats with monohydric alcohol in presence of a catalyst. The transesterification reaction is affected by various parameters. One of this parameter is catalyst type. Generally, catalysts used in transesterification reaction can be divided into three categories: homogenous, heterogeneous and enzymes. Heterogeneous catalysts offer numerous advantages over homogeneous catalysts as it can easily be separated from reaction mixture and can …

Review on Drying of Tea Leaf during Manufacturing Process.
Abstract: India is the world's largest tea producer, and Assam contributes about 55 per cent of India's total production making it the largest tea growing area in the world. Tea production started in the early 1800s, during the British period. Maniram Dewan was Assam's first tea-maker. In the first two decades (1840–1860), the cultivation and production of Assam tea was monopolized by the Assam Company, which worked in Upper Assam districts …

Recovery of Liquid Hydrocarbon Fuels from Polypropylene Waste Plastics via Catalytic Pyrolysis
Abstract: Process of pyrolysis is a thermo-chemical method conducted at high temperatures and usually in presence of catalysts. Dissimilar type of natural and synthetic catalysts are used for alteration of organic wastes into cherished fuels. The aim of this work is conversion of waste production of liquid fuel using catalyst that produced from rice husk ash. Waste plastic was pyrolyzed at temperature range 430-470oC and obtained products were liquid fuel, gas …

A Novel Method for the Preparation of Eco-enzymes
Abstract: A novel method for the production of an eco-enzyme has been developed. The eco-enzyme prepared is a complex solution produced by fermentation of fresh kitchen waste (fruit and vegetable dregs), sugar (brown sugar, jaggery or molasses sugar) and water. It is dark brown and has a strong sweet sour fermented scent. Eco enzyme is a multipurpose liquid and its applications cover household, agriculture, animal husbandry etc.The enzyme prepared can be …
