Effect of PMMA Micropillars on the Surface-Driven Capillary Flow of Dyed Aqueous Ethanol in PMMA Microchannels
Abstract: In this work, dyed aqueous ethanol (60% ethanol, 40% dyed water) is prepared as the working liquid. The effect of surface modification on the microfluidic flow of aqueous ethanol is studied in the polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) devices. The effect of surface area to volume ratio on microfluidic flow of aqueous ethanol is also studied. The effect of microfluidic friction on microfluidic flow of aqueous ethanol is also studied. This work will …

Reduction of Submerged Mark Defects in Injection Molding Method
Abstract: Because of overwhelming interest in plastic items, plastic businesses are developing in a speediest rate. Plastic infusion forming starts with shape making and in assembling of complex shapes. Ideal setting up of infusion forming process factors assumes an imperative part in controlling the nature of the infusion shaped items. It is all the most critical to control property abandons like sink marks. Sink marks are fundamentally a "planned in" issue …

Experimental Investigation on Soil Stabilization with Demolished Concrete
Abstract: Soil serves as engineering media for the construction and preserve or destroy artifacts of human endeavors. This step of construction process bears such a great importance because it can cause foundation failure due to the insufficient bearing capacity of the soil. Stabilizing of soil in an economical way is complicated task,by this project we are going to increase the soil strength for the foundation by adding demolished concrete. As demolished …

ANALYSIS AND OPTIMIZATION OF SINGLE CYLINDER IC ENGINE CONNECTING ROD
Abstract: Connecting rod is an intermediate link between the piston and the crank shaft, which is responsible to transmit reciprocating motion of the piston to rotary motion of the crank shaft. These connecting rods are made of Carbon steel, because of its strength, durability, and lower cost. However, steel with its high mass density exerts excessive stresses on the crankshaft of a high speed engine. Recently Aluminium Alloys have been taken …

Effect of Varying Surface Grinding Parameters for AISI 1018 Mild Steel by Taguchi based PCA
Abstract: The main purpose of this work is to study the effects of surface grinding parameters on AISI 1018 Mild steel work surface by using three process parameters like Wheel speed (WS), Table speed (TS) and Depth of cut (DOC). This work was conducted on surface grinding machine with model number HMT-P452. Taguchi’s L16 orthogonal array is used which takes sixteen experimental runs to achieve the design matrix of surface grinding …
