A Combined Molecular Docking Analysis of The Phytochemicals of Ginkgo biloba against The Parkin Protein Target (Autoinhibited Parkin Catalytic Domain)
Abstract: This study's goal is to evaluate the specific therapeutic targets for Parkinson's disease (PDB ID: 4BM9) using molecular docking simulation and ADME analysis against bilobalide, quercetin, ginkgolide B, and protocatechuic acid (3,4-Dihydroxybenzoic acid). The Protein Data Base was used to extract theprotein's three-dimensional structure, and the PubChem database was used to retrieve the ligands. Using Auto-Dock Tools-1.5.7, a molecular docking simulation of the compounds was carried out. Since none of …

Effective Removal of Widely Applicable Pesticides Using Iron Pillared Clay (Fe/Bt): Adsorption Behaviour and Kinetics
Abstract: The vast application of pesticides for agricultural purpose to enhance adequate plant growth is quite alarming, with its negative environmental influence increasing every day. The current study investigates the potential of iron pillared bentonite (Fe/Bt) for effective removal of three different widely applicable pesticides (Glyphosate, Bentazon and Diazinon) in aqueous solution. This adsorbent has been characterized ab initio by FT-IR spectroscopy. Adsorption parameters such as contact time, initial pesticide concentration …

Saccharomyces exiguus Single Cell Protein Synthesis in Ethanol
Abstract: At present, foods of animal and vegetable origin have two fundamental aspects of resolving the nutritional value for human and animal consumption. As well as the cost of agricultural production with the necessary inputs in a sustainability scheme. Consequently, there are other strategies for the generation of nutritional quality protein for consumption, such as the so-called protein of unicellular origin “single cell protein” (SCP), Saccharomyces exiguus is a precise example …

High-strength Indian Kaolin Development by Adding Vanadium Pentoxide (V2O5) by Sol-gel Method
Abstract: The development of high strength in Indian kaolinite has been studied in the presence of vanadium pentoxide. It is observed that the strength of Indian kaolinite is increased with addition of V2O5 by sol-gel techniques and characterized by Vickers hardness, X-ray diffraction and scanning electronmicroscopy studies. The kaolinite was compacted with different proportions of V2O5 additives and sintered at four different high temperatures. It was observed that V2O5 showed a …

Chemical Composition Quantification of Components in Extracts of Uncaria tomentosa by HPLC and LC-MS Analysis
Abstract: The tropical medicinal vine known as cat's claw, Uncaria tomentosa (Willd. ex Schult.) DC. (Family: Rubiaceae), is native to the Amazon rainforest and other regions of South and Central America. It has been shown to be useful as an immune system booster, antioxidant, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory agent and has been historically used to treat wounds, fever, urinary tract infections, abscesses, and asthma. U. tomentosa contains a variety of phytoconstituents, including …
