A SIMULATION STUDY OF THE EFFICIENCY OF HIGH VOLTAGE α-Si STAND-ALONE PV INSTALLATIONS
Abstract: The paper analyzes different configurations, direct-PV, PV-battery, either with PWM or MPPregulator, and hybrid-PV, of stand-alone PV installation operating with high voltage α-Si panels thatsupplies energy to a DC-AC external circuit. Global efficiency is determined as a function of voltageconversion ratio and individual element efficiency. Efficiency Enhancement, Curbing Losses and Concept of Hybridization in Solar Power Generation
Abstract: In the era of energy crisis, there is ongoing search for sustainable and cost effective source of renewable energy.
