Simulation of The Performance of Li-Ion Batteries for Electric Vehicles
Abstract: In this work, a simulation process, focused to study the performance of Li-ion batteries under variable driving conditions has been developed. The simulation has been tested for a battery of 100 kWh, 400 V and 250 Ah, in an electric vehicle operating in pure electric mode (EV). The results have been compared to the European standard NEDC and WLTP cycles, producing a range of 196 km for the NEDC cycle …

Study of Two-distinct Automotive Bumper Beam Designs during Low Speed Impacts
Abstract: Bumper beam is one of the key components in the automotive bumper system, which plays an important role in crash as a protection for occupants and a car's frontal compartment by absorbing impact energy. The most critical parameters, including material, thickness, and shape and impact condition are studied in this paper for the design and analysis of an automotive front bumper beam to enhance the low-velocity impact crashworthiness design. Two …

Line Follower Car
Abstract: The line follower car is a machine, or we can say a robot, which follows the visible line on the surface or floor which is simply a black line on a white surface. This kind of a car has the ability to sense the line with the help of the Infrared Ray (IR) sensors which is installed under the car. After that the data which is collected by the sensors …

Experimental Test for the Replacement of Aluminum Sheets Instead of Steel Sheets in the Automotive Industry and the Effect of this Replacement
Abstract: Nowadays, vehicles cause air pollution due to high fuel consumption, and it has a direct relationship with increasing vehicle weigh. The increase of pollution will lead to rise in greenhouse gases that will cause special damages during a long period time. In this paper, instead of using steel sheets, aluminum sheets are proposed for the vehicle body and its interior components. It is attractive to increase its speed by reduction …

Hybrid Two-Wheeler Vehicle
Abstract: In last few decades the development of hybrid electric two-wheelers is mainly focused on the reduction of on road emissions produced by these vehicles. As these vehicles have added cost and complexity hence resulted in the failure of these systems to meet consumer expectations. This report presents a comparative study of the energy economy and development of a hybrid electric two-wheeler vehicle so that the efficiency of small two-wheelers such …
