Automation in Waste Management: How AI and Robotics Transforming Waste Sorting and Recycling
Abstract: Waste management is a big issue in the modern world, and it gets worse as urbanisation and industry increase. Hazards to the environment and human health result from traditional waste management practices' inability to effectively classify, recycle, and dispose of garbage. Robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) provide creative ways to improve trash processing, sorting, and collection. This article examines the application of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI) to waste management, …

Voltage Vigilance: Ensuring Balance and curbing Theft in Power Distribution Networks
Abstract: This project proposes a system for detecting electrical overload and earth faults using an Arduino Uno controller. The system uses a current sensor to identify overloads and a voltage sensor to detect earth faults. An ESP8266 module allows users to switch between the two fault detection modes. When an overload is detected, the Arduino turns off AC bulbs using a relay and sends an alert message via a GSM module. …

A Machine learning approach to asses carbon emission, utility to produce biomaterial
Abstract: The transportation sector, and the automotive industry in particular, has grown significantly over the last ten years. However, these quick advancements have also brought about important problems that require workable answers. The problem of carbon emission is responsible for global warming due to greenhouse gas emission. The present work is focused on CO2 emission from public and personal transport within Agra city on a real-time basis. In the context of …

Optimization and Structural Integrity of Truck Chassis Using Finite Element Analysis
Abstract: The chassis of a truck is a crucial component, and it acts as a framework for the body and other components of the truck. It must also be strong enough to withstand pressures like shock, twisting, vibration, and more. When building a chassis, having enough bending stiffness for better handling characteristics is just as important as strength. Deflection, maximum stress, and maximum equilateral stress are crucial design factors for the …

Smart Protective System for EVs
Abstract: Electric vehicles, or EVs, form the bedrock of sustainable transportation, offering both energy efficiency and low carbon emissions. However, the safety issues emanating from the complexity of road conditions call for innovative solutions. This paper introduces a Smart Protective System for EVs, integrating YOLOv5 for real-time obstacle and pothole detection with ultrasonic sensors for proximity measurement. The system is able to achieve an object detection accuracy of 95% under normal …
