Data Mining Made Simple by A priori Algorithm for Market Analysis
Abstract: Data mining and data warehousing are increasingly becoming popular among IT professionals, academics and researchers from different disciplines. Business enterprises, small, medium or large scale, are considering the deployment of a warehouse as a major step and as a matter of pride. Data mining or knowledge discovery in data bases combines the techniques from mathematics, statistics, algorithms and artificial intelligence to extract the knowledge. Data mining is a main phase …

Power Consumption Reduction using Microarchitecture Techniques for Modern Multicore Microprocessors
Abstract: The development in the semiconductor technology is helping the designer to make the systems as compact as possible. We are moving towards 14 nm fabrication technology. The technology scaling is going much down but it is also the reason to bring several crucial issues on the surface which is very difficult to handle. The various advance processor architecture design concepts helped in increasing speed by keeping the power consumption under …

Iris Recognition System Using Principal Component Analysis based Back-Propagation Learning Neural Networks
Abstract: This paper deals with the iris recognition system using Back-Propagation learning neural network algorithm where Principal Component Analysis technique has been used to reduce the dimension of the iris feature vector. Automated iris localization and segmentation methods have applied to effectively isolate the iris region from pupil and sclera. Circular Hogue transform has used to detect the iris/sclera boundary and pupil/iris boundary. To remove the upper and lower eyelids effects …
