Smart CCTV for Daycare

Abstract

In the modern world, security has been the most crucial issue. Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is used to monitor, and identify the specific surrounding for surveillance and security purpose. The device warns of the presence of any individual in the vicinity and adds security by documenting the person's actions. In day-care, the footage captured by surveillance camera is critical for crime prevention and investigation. A motion detection, video capturing, and noise detection will be done for security. The hardware implementation of the system is backed by the Arduino boards and Raspberry Pi, while the software is provided by the GSM module and OpenCV. By using Haar cascade classifiers, which are once again built into Python's OpenCV module, faces can be detected. A person can look for observation from anywhere in the world and then react accordingly. Noise, a main function in this system as the CCTV will detect the before and after changes in the surrounding. A fall detection, track the movement of child; whenever child get fall from higher floor, system will detect the fall and send a notification to the parent or user. Fall Detection is done by using YOLO algorithm.
