Post-COVID-19 Challenges in the Higher Education Sector

Abstract

This epidemic is not a new concept, it has been in every era, but the arrival has been seen in every era with a new form and new name; in the 21st century, it was inscribed with the name of Corona. And that is an effort to stop the ego. If a person escaped the appearance of the ego, he or she experienced these pandemics. Due to this pandemic, everyone’s life and livelihood has been spoiled. The whole world has suffered from the pandemic coronavirus which has disrupted social and economic life, especially of the rural and poor people throughout the world. In India, the vulnerable section of society has suffered a lot. A million people from both the agriculture and service sector have faced the problems of a lost job. Economic crisis put various challenges before the government which has become the nucleus worldwide. The first and foremost challenge lies in the rehabilitation of the poor people who have been forced to lose their job. Because of the coronavirus outbreak, the entire world’s educational institutions closed their doors and 90% of the world’s students were affected. The education system has been transformed fully by this pandemic. We have athletic events, sports, and games outside the classroom, as well as music, theatre, dance, etc. All of these require a lot of activity and interaction with surrounding students or even physical touch.
