Abstract: In this article, we review effects of doping on Cadmium-Selenide (CdSe) Quantum dots (QDs). Different dopants critically influence the properties and functionalities of nanocrystals (QDs). It is of strong interest to understand the structural characteristics of dopants and how they interact with the QDs. Differently, doped CdSe QDs were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) technique, UV-Visible absorption spectroscopy, photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy.
