    Abstract: Flooding is a significant environmental stressor that affects the growth, development, and productivity of chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.), a crucial pulse crop grown worldwide, especially in India. This study investigates the biochemical changes in chickpea plants subjected to prolonged and sudden flooding.
