Abstract: Patient with type 2 diabetes mellitus are at consistent risk of oral candidiasis, dental caries and dysfunction. Candiadisis is caused by different species such as Candida albicans, C. tropicalis, C. glabrata, C. dubliniensis. Nevertheless, C. albicans is the most frequent causative agent for candidiasis in human.
