Abstract: Because of the wide range of applications for 2-imidazolones, they have achieved enormous importance in human life. Although there are other methods for generating 2-imidazolones, the bulk of them required an 8 to 10 hour reflux period. As a result, the suggested study was done to develop a simple process for the synthesis of 2-imidazolones and to improve product yield by using Zeolite as a catalyst. The work described here …
