Abstract: Objective: To carry out pharmacognostical and phytochemical studies on each part of Adhahapushpi (Trichodesma Indicum Linn. R. Br.) belonging to the family Boraginaceae. Methods: The root, leaf, stem, flower and fruits of Adhahapushpi (Trichodesma Indicum Linn. R. Br.) were assessed for pharmacognostical studies such as macroscopic, microscopy, powder study, and quantitative microscopy.
