    Prediction of Scale Dependent Material Properties of Single Walled Carbon Nanotubes

    Abstract: The present work explores the potential application of nonlocal continuum mechanics related to nanotechnology applications. Nonlocal continuum models represent attempts to extend the continuum approach to smaller length scales while retaining most of its many advantages.     Nonlocal Torsional Vibration of Nanorods

The nonlocal elasticity theory is incorporated into classical rod model to capture unique features of the nanorods under the continuum mechanics theory.
