  Anti-synchronization of Vallis System using Sliding Mode Control

  Abstract: This paper is concerned with anti-synchronization of Vallis system (talks about fluctuations of temperature in western and eastern parts of near-equatorial area of the ocean). Sliding mode control is proposed to achieve the proposed anti-synchronization. A proportional integral switching surface is devised with appropriate control law and reduction of chattering is considered as well.
