QSAR Analysis on a Series of Triazole Based Tubulin Polymerization InhibitorsBy Akanksha ., Vikas Mehta, Richa Dhingra, Neelima Dhingra
Abstract: AbstractThe polymerization progression of microtubules is vital to their natural capacities. Polymerization flow allows microtubules to embrace spatial courses of action that can change quickly because of cell needs and, at times, to perform mechanical work. Compounds that interfere with the microtubule-tubulin equilibria in cells are helpful in the treatment of human diseases. A few triazoles mimics of combretastatin-benzothiazole (CAB) hybrids had good activity as inhibitors both of tubulin polymerization …

2D-QSAR Studies on Unsaturated 4-Azasteroids as 5α-reductase InhibitorsBy Neelima Dhingra, Priyanka Rana, Richa Dhingra, Monika .
Abstract: Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) a major circulating male hormone is produced by NADPH dependent enzyme 5α-reductase (5 alpha R) and has been found to be causative agent in the development of pathological condition i.e. benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Thus inhibition of 5α-reductase enzyme represents a novel target in the treatment of BPH. Present study describes the relationship between the 5α-Reductase inhibitory activity for structurally related unsaturated 4-azasteroids derivatives and their physicochemical descriptors …

2D QSAR Studies on Some Novel 17a-aza-D-Homo Steroids as 5α-Reductase InhibitorsBy Neelima Dhingra, Richa Dhingra, Manav Malhotra, T.R. Bhardwaj
Abstract: The major circulating hormone dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is responsible for the development and progression of benign prostate hyperplasia (BPH). Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is by produced by NADPH dependent reduction of testosterone (T) under the catalytic effect of the enzyme 5α-reductase (5 alpha R). Inhibition of 5α-reductase enzyme is the novel approach for treatment of BPH. Present work describes relationship between the 5α-reductase inhibitory activity for structurally related amides and esters of 17a-Aza-D-Homo-17-one …
