  Study of Calcium Oxide Nanoparticles Synthesized by Solvothermal Method

  Abstract: Calcium oxide (CaO) nanoparticles have been synthesized by simple solvothermal method using a domestic microwave oven. The reaction of calcium acetate with urea in ethylene glycol and by adding different mole% of manganese acetate as dopant was studied. The structural and optical properties of the proposed nanoparticles were investigated.
