Performance of High Strength Basalt Fiber Reinforced Metakaolin ConcreteBy R. L. Shirale
Abstract: The present work deals with the results of experimental investigations on high strength M60 basalt fiberreinforced metakaolin concrete. Effect of these fibers on various strengths of concrete are studied. Fiber contentvaried from 0.5 to 1.5% at an interval of 0.5 by weight of cement. Various strengths considered for investigationare compressive strength, flexural strength, split tensile, and bond strength. Cube of size 100 mm forcompressive strength, beams of size 500 mm …

Experimental Investigation of Mechanical Properties of Hybrid Fiber (Basalt and Steel) Reinforced ConcreteBy R. L. Shirale, Remya Muralidharan, Rupali Shinde
Abstract: The paper reports experimental investigations on hybrid-reinforced concrete. The proportion of basalt fiber and steel fiber was 50% respectively of the total fiber taken as sample. Effect of fiber on various strengths of concrete is studied. Fiber content varied from 0 to 4% at an interval of 1% by weight of cement. Various considerations for investigation are compressive strength, flexural strength, split tensile and bond strength. Cube of size 150 …
