  Abstract: AbstractOur paper describes the electrocardiography (ECG) monitoring system based on ATMEGA 16 microcontroller. To detect R-peak detection and heart rate monitoring, the authors used ATMEGA 16 microcontroller with inbuilt analog-to-digital (ADC). Our device is low cost and portable, so that it can help in home monitoring of ECG data.
