  Compact Circular Slotted Microstrip Antenna for Wireless Communication Systems

  Abstract: In this paper, compact broadband microstrip patch antenna with circular slot has beendesigned for various wireless applications suitable in the ranges ofDCS1800/PCS1900/UMTS2100. The designed antenna has been printed on dielectricsubstrate glass epoxy. The Zeland IE3D software is used for the simulation. The return lossbandwidth is of 89.07% covering the frequency range of 1.02 to 2.65 GHz.
