Abstract: There are eight branches of Ayurveda, Shalakya Tantra is one of them. Acharya Sushruta has mentioned 11 types of Shiro Roga and Acharya Vagbhatta described 10 types of Shiro Roga; he also described nine types of Shirokapalgata Roga.
