Abstract: Hyperlipidaemia (Fart-e-Tadassum-Fid-Dam) is a common metabolic disease seen in clinical practice. It is mentioned that increased lipid level is associated with the pathogenesis of atherosclerosis. Theory of hyperlipidaemia meets similarly on the basis of etiology, presentation, complications, patho-physiology and non-pharmacological management with Saman-e-mufrit (obesity).
