  Abstract: AbstractDirect Torque Control is a control method used for high-performance torque control in AC drive systems. The standard DTC drive includes a couple of hysteresis comparators, a flux and torque estimator and a selection table for voltage vectors. Torque and flux are governed simultaneously by implementing appropriate voltage vectors, and de-coupling control of torque and flux can be accomplished by restricting these amounts within their hysteresis bands.
