Atmospheric Carbon Control and Oxygen Production by Urban Green Campus

Abstract: Deforestation has resulted in a massive degradation of the forest area. At the current rate of forest degradation rejuvenation of the forest trees is becoming increasingly difficult. The urban trees thus contribute in the form of CO2 sink through carbon sequestration and produces oxygen. The urban trees also aid in improving the environmental quality.
