Removal of heavy metals from waste water treatment using composite nanomaterials – A ReviewBy G. Prabhavathi, M. Karunanithy, A. Ayeshamariam, N. Sekar, K. Mohamed Rafi, P. Pon Nivetha, K. Kaviyarasu, M. Jayachandran
Abstract: With the rapid industrial and textile development, the increasing heavy metal ions concentration in water streams has caused serious environmental problems all over the world. Removal of heavy elements and its techniques in India of earth is a biotechnological process which has been used for more than five decades for wastewater treatment. It is generally agreed that removal of heavy metals from drinking and industries side effluent waters are important …

Morphological Studies of ZrO2 Prepared by Thermal Evaporation TechniqueBy A. Mohamed Saleem, V. Fairose, M.T. Sadad Abdussamad, R. Abinaya, S. Kathoon Sanofer, B. Madhumitha, A. Ayeshamariam, M. Jayachandran
Abstract: Zirconium is the rare earth element used as superconductive element at low temperatures. It is extensively used for the chemical industry to protect corrosion alkalis and seawater. It is naturally acting as an insulator; it is very much helpful to the optoelectronic devices when it is used as oxides. ZrO2 is synthesized by using combustion synthesis, the as-prepared samples were pelletized, and this pellet was used in the thermal evaporation …

Synthesis and Characterization of CeO2-ZrO2 NanocompositesBy S. A Fowziya, A.M. Uduman Mohideen, A. Afroos Banu, A. Ayeshamariam, A.R. Mohamed Jahangir, A. Mohamed Saleem, M. Jayachandran
Abstract: CeO2-ZrO2 nanocomposites were prepared by hydrothermal method and characterized by using XRD (X-ray diffractometer) to study the structural analysis of the prepared nanocomposites. The as-prepared samples were further annealed at 150º C and 300º C. From the structural studies crystal size and lattice parameter was calculated. FTIR analysis confirms the results of vibrational spectra and XPS, EDAX analysis confirms the elements presents in the composites. Effect of annealing in frequency …
