Abstract: Friction stir welding (FSW) is an innovative welding process commonly known as a solid state welding process. The aim of the present work, to study the effect of welding parameters through; tool rotation speed, welding speed and depth of cut on the micro-structure and mechanical properties of FSW butt joints of dissimilar aluminium alloy.
