Abstract: Trickling filter system is an attached growth process which removes the pollutants from the wastewater via biological oxidation. In this research, the media is fabricated from perforated spherical celluloid in the arrangement of hexagonal close packed. The targeted compounds are specifically nitrogenous compounds, namely ammonia-nitrogen and nitrate-nitrogen, alongside biological oxygen demand and chemical oxygen demand.
