Abstract: In this proposed paper the performance of Band stop filter with modified ground structure is analyzed in this specific work; the modified ground structure includes a circle and dumbbell etched shapes in ground plane. Parameters of the proposed configuration were calculated at the cut off frequencies of f1=1 GHz, f2=1.62GHz and also proposed designs having substrate height of 1.6 mm, loss tangent of 0.02 and dielectric constant of 4.4.
