In vitro Evaluation of Kigelia pinnata Leaves for Its Antioxidative and Anticancer ActivityBy Nutan V. Badgujar, Kinnari N. Mistry
Abstract: Previous studies suggest that the Kigelia pinnata leaves have useful effects against diseases mediated through oxidative stress and cancers. In this study, leaves of Kigelia pinnata were studied for presence of different phytochemical constituents, anti-oxidant and anti-cancer activities.Crude methane extracts of Kigelia pinnata leaves showed cytotoxic activity in vitro against non-small cell lung cancinoma (A-549) cells using the MTT assay. Phytochemical evaluation showed the existence of alkaloids, terpenoids, flavonoids, tannins …

In silico Analysis of nsSNPs in the Human ACTN4 Gene associated with a Steroid-Resistant Nephrotic SyndromeBy Glory S. Parmar, Kinnari N. Mistry, Dharamshibhai N. Rank, Sishir Gang
Abstract: The main motive of this study is to discover nsSNPs of ACTN4 gene through various insilico views. ACTN4 is one of the proteins that play a leading role in cellular pathways by altering cytoskeletal behaviour associated with steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome. Data of ACTN4 was collected from NCBI dbSNP and Uniport KB and further used to explore adverse outcome using SIFT, PolyPhen, PROVEAN and SNAP2.Out of 11 nsSNPs selected in this …
